**Key responsibilities**
To ensure we have the capability, capacity and culture where our colleagues and customer experience is the focus of our leaders.
You will partner with Directors and Managers, help shape and implement People Plans for their business functions which align to our overall business strategy and plan
Key responsibilities:
- Coach leaders to deliver improved business performance and the engagement and wellbeing of their people. Ensure they are role modelling the values.
- Review the people health of assigned regions/functions and ensure plans are in place to address any concerns e.g. vacancies, quality of hires, talent pipeline, development needs, wellbeing themes.
- Work with the Head of HR and CofE’s to deliver cyclical people activity and any projects which support the delivery of the Functional or HR People Plan, or specific regional/functional requirements
- Drive the performance and talent agenda within allocated functions, ensuring leaders build robust succession plans and development plans for emerging and high potential talent. Ensure plans are in place to tackle poor performance.
- Ensure leaders are proactively addressing any performance or wellbeing concerns through the utilisation of our ER service and online support tools.
- Support the Head of HR in planning and implementing organisational changes by coaching and upskilling leaders to implement change, ensuring changes are embedded and sustained.

**Required skills & experience**
- Ability to quickly build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders as well as the people function, and embed within business functions as a trusted partner
- Strong prioritisation and time management skills, with the ability to exercise appropriate autonomy.
- A good self-starter, can adapt style and prioritises well to meet business needs
- Able to demonstrate experience of driving an inclusive culture.
- A confident coach and mentor, you will be adept at upskilling managers in people management.
- You will have basic OD skills from delivering previous change initiatives and be confident in delivering and embedding change in an organisation, including TUPE.
- Experience of leading successful projects which deliver improvements for colleagues.
- Curious and questioning, you will ensure data is accurate and be happy to analyse and interpret data to inform decisions.
- Commercial in approach with a good understanding of the business and the commercial impact of people initiatives.
- Some experience working in partnership with financial teams regarding budget and headcount
