Accelerate is a UK wide membership association of small and medium sized accountancy practices seeking to collaborate on common industry issues such as recruitment, training, leadership, succession, sustainability and so on. It is an affiliate member of Crowe Global, an international network of professional services firms in over 100 locations worldwide.

**Communications & Marketing**
- Develop an awareness and understanding of the regulated accountancy practice sector and business activity with a view to:

- developing a communications and marketing plan for accelerate
- manage social media posts and engagement for the Executive Director and accelerate daily
- conduct relevant market research and analysis (client and competitor intelligence)
- edit and curate content for the website and social media and write and generate new material to ensure it remains up to date considering SEO
- write about successes to include in internal and external communications
- attracting other members to join accelerate
- Curate brochures and other core marketing and events collateral e.g., editing, proofing and collation of information.
- Implement effective measurements for evaluating performance of all content and events-based activities.
- Build and develop an engaging newsletter and regular mailings to members regularly reporting back on engagement statistics and analysis to develop future communications.
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency and compliance in the development of all marketing collateral.
- Support the ED with content creation, filming/photography including research and planning.
- Refresh uploads and edits to accelerate website using google analytics to monitor performance.

**Training & Events Management**
- Support delivery of activities related to training and meeting events to build relationships, raise reputation, and increase recognition.
- Organise the annual flagship conference in conjunction with a host member firm to include procuring speakers, conference space, accommodation, catering, transport and events collateral.
- Organise and collate regular online forums, meetings and webinars including setting advance programmes for these.
- Develop under the supervision of the executive director an annual programme of training and networking events.

**Support Function**
- Develop strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders within member firms.
- Collate and set up online forums and meetings.
- Organise hotel and travel bookings for accelerate members and staff.
- Provide support to the executive director and chairman as required.
- Agenda setting and minute taking for the executive committee.
- Manage diaries, using initiative to anticipate and resolve any conflicts which may include sensitivity to personal diary arrangements.

**Person Specification**
- Previous professional services or membership organisation experience in the events, marketing or communications space
- Qualification in marketing, brand and/or events management
- Previous one to many platforms and CMS experience
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Be a self-motivated, resourceful problem solver, proactive, accountable, and responsible for own workload.
- Meticulous attention to detail and highly organised
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm
- Flexibility to travel within the UK to host events, conferences, and firm visits.
- Conferences and in person events will require working outside of normal working hours.
