As a Business Support Clerk, you'll play a vital role by providing comprehensive, efficient, and effective business support services. Your responsibilities will include maintaining both computerised and manual systems, processing internal and external mail, handling cash and calls, data input, and extraction. Additionally, you'll provide word processing services, assist in the preparation of routine statistical information, arrange meetings, and maintain a high level of customer care.

**Your Duties**:

- Provide clerical support including filing, photocopying, and mail processing.
- Perform various business support tasks adhering to agreed procedures.
- Offer word processing services for routine correspondence and creative layouts.
- Utilise office-related IT software packages and specific council systems.
- Assist in preparing and distributing routine statistical and performance information.
- Support various business-related activities such as finance, HR, and administration.
- Arrange meetings, take minutes, and maintain customer care standards.
- Prioritise workload to meet performance standards.
- Identify and participate in training and development programs.
- Undertake other relevant duties as assigned.

**Your Profile**:

- Computer-based testing skills including data entry, grammar, spelling, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Effective team working abilities.
- Excellent customer care skills.
- Proficiency in Information Technology.
- Strong work planning and organisational skills.
