Main Purpose of Job:
As a Business Support Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's administrative functions. Reporting to the appropriate line manager, you will assist in delivering a comprehensive, efficient, and effective business support service. This includes basic Information Technology tasks and representing the manager in routine matters as needed. Upholding our commitment to customer care principles, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery to our stakeholders.

**Your Duties**:

- Provide clerical support including maintaining computerized and manual systems, filing, photocopying, and handling internal and external mail.
- Execute various business support tasks following established procedures, such as cash handling, call management, data input and extraction, and other relevant duties.
- Offer word processing services, transforming draft documents or audio recordings into polished correspondence, memos, reports, and creative layouts like PowerPoint presentations.
- Utilise basic office-related IT software packages and specific council or departmental IT systems as required.
- Assist in preparing, compiling, and distributing routine statistical, performance, and other information.

**Your Profile**:

- Proficiency in basic Information Technology skills and office software packages.
- Previous experience in administrative or clerical roles is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Full time, Temporary.
- 09:00-17:00, Monday-Friday.
