As the Theatre Loan kit and Invoice Coordinator you will work in liaison with the Theatre Leads, finance, billing and different loan kit providers. You will need to participate in the provision of accurate and timely data. Provide effective support and liaison for clinical staff within the Operating Theatres, ensuring competence and compliance with the enhanced and developing APAS system and supporting further system and hardware developments.

**As a Theatre Loan kit and Invoice Coordinator, you will**:

- Revenue capture & reconciliation of Patient Charges (validation) from Theatre and Pharmacy
- Raise a purchase order when equipment, consumables or implants are required, complete all associated paperwork and contact the company or the company’s representative to request the item
- Ensure that all loan equipment is checked on arrival and booked into the department on arrival
- Ensure that decontamination instructions are available for all loan equipment
- Complete all necessary paper work in SSD identifying the date and time the equipment is required for; ensure the check list is copied to be processed with the instrument sets
- After check in update the communication book to indicate what has arrived and for which case
- Any concerns or problems with incoming equipment or implants must be raised immediately with the Shift Coordinator, this will include any missing, late or damaged items
- Liaise with couriers to ensure the smooth process for the collection and delivery of all equipment/implants/consumables
- Update and maintain the records for the delivery and collection of the loan kits
- Ensure patient care documentation is completed accurately (Utilisation)
- Make sure that Consumables & Implants from our consignment, as well as loaned items are charged, processed and accurately documented. In addition, reorder implants to fulfil our consignment accordingly
- Ensure national registries are documented correctly (National Joint Registry, Breast Implant Registry) when required and liaise with the relevant staff for their completion
- Ensure the Human Tissue Audit (HTA) process is maintained and recorded
- Resolve patient’s account query and invoice issues arising from loan kits P.O.
- Complete any internal audits and reports needed by HOD
- Liaise with finance team regarding monthly tracking of prosthesis purchased and with Patient Accounts to ensure all prosthesis are appropriately billed and ordered when required
- Manage queries from pricing team regarding prosthesis quotations required for prospective patients
