POSITION TITLE: Finance Assistant
HOURS: 40 per week. 9 - 5.30pm
MANAGER: Finance Director
LOCATION: Glasgow Airport Business Park, Paisley
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent/Full time
**Purpose**:
OCO is a company operating as a franchisee of Starbucks Coffee with 20 stores (& growing) across Scotland.
A great opportunity within our Finance department has become available due to a recent internal promotion. The main purpose of the role is to become an integral part of the finance function, assisting across a range of tasks & areas. This is an important role in a small team. The role is based at our Head office in Paisley, 5 days a week.
**Responsibilities**
- Process purchase invoices
- Weekly supplier payment run
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliations & query resolution
- Matching and posting of receipts/income using control accounts
- Bank & credit card Reconciliations
- Month end balance sheet reconciliations
- Posting Prepayments & accruals at month end
- Other analysis work
**Person Specification**
- Experience in a similar role is essential
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Strong numerical skills, with a good basic understanding of the finance function within a company
- Proactive, can do attitude with problem solving skills and an understanding of the importance of accuracy
- A friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
- Proven ability to engage and work collaboratively across a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong Microsoft Excel capability
- Experience of using Xero is preferred
**Salary**: Up to £27,000.00 per year
