**The Albex Group **(Kent Foods Limited) are currently looking to recruit an **Accounts Assistant with Payroll experience **to join our team in Paisley.

**What you'll do**:
As an Accounts Assistant (including payroll), you will work in support of our Group Management Accountant(s) to provide support to the assigned group companies and prepare financial and management accounting information for these, you would ensure that customer and supplier accounts are accurate; processing supplier invoices and payments; customer cash receipts; payroll; filing paperwork.

**Responsibilities**:

- Processing cash receipts and payments
- Making sure that customer and supplier accounts are accurate (reconciling)
- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data into the payroll system, as well as retrieving data as required; submitting all statutory returns.
- Receiving, processing and filing paperwork, e.g., invoices, expenses, requests for payment
- Checking/verifying calculations to make sure they’re correct
- Inputting information into a computer-based accounts system
- Keeping track of figures by working with spreadsheets

**Essential Skills and Experience Required**:

- A proactive, results-driven and well-organised finance professional who is able to manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant experience, or qualified by experience in a similar role.
- Solid experience in the use of financial ERP systems.
- Excellent computer literacy skills including MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidential ethos.
- Good attention to detail.
