**The Role**
If you love to bring simplicity to the most complex of environments then this role is for you. You will be responsible for working with project teams that are delivering cutting edge technology into the Phoenix Group, focussing on the scope of the change being implemented and then using your expertise to ensure the relevant service processes are implemented to ensure quality customer outcomes.
Service Design has a focus on “shift to the left” activities ie influencing and involvement in the earliest stages of ideas through development to ensure supportability and scalability are considered aiming to reduce subsequent issues after deploy to Production. As a Service designer you will be tasked with overseeing the activities related to the design of new or modified services. Working in collaborating closely with project delivery teams ,your role involves crafting services that not only fulfil non-functional requirements but also seamlessly integrate into the existing service portfolio. This role is perfect for those that love working with people, are focused on end to end value and understand the end to end value chain of technology delivery.
You will demonstrate a sense of ownership in ensuring the successful completion, including fostering and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.Effective communication will be key in the role ,through articulate verbal and written interactions. Demonstrating leadership and acting as a consultant during significant cross-team coordination events are an integral part of this role. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the implementation of repeatable processes and best practice, fostering a culture of continuous service improvement.
