**Ecommerce Assistant**

**Job brief**

The post holder will play a key role in keeping our online selling platforms stocked with appropriate products. The post holders primary objective will be uploading products to our eBay shop.

Hours
- 20 hours per week (Flexible to suit home or study commitments)

Contract-permanent

Salary-£20,397.15 per annum (pro-rata)

**Key Tasks**

**Product Uploads**
- Collate all necessary information required for a successful product upload (photographs, description, sizing, pricing etc).
- Undertake product research to ensure accurate pricing and financial return of items.
- Upload selected items onto eBay using auctions and buy it now.
- Maintain our inventory and organisation of stock.
- Upload a variety of donated items for online sale.
- Ensure high levels of customer service at all times to maintain high levels of eBay feedback.
- Identifying items suitable for online sale.

**Customer Care**
- To help establish and maintain a robust online customer service and feedback mechanism.
- Respond to customer enquiries across all platforms in a constructive and prompt manner.
- Quality check all items to ensure all items are delivered in the condition described.
- Pick and pack customer orders ready for delivery.

**Additional responsibilities**:

- To assist and support the Ecommerce team with packaging and post when needed.
- Work within a team, attending team meetings, recording and sharing information appropriately and confidentially.
- Maintain an organized workspace in keeping with organisation health and safety standards
- Keep up to date with issues relevant to charity retail, online trading, software and data trends.
- To undertake all core training required for this post and other training and professional development activities as required.
- Undertake other delegated tasks and responsibilities that fall within your capabilities.

**Experience**
- Previous experience of selling on any online platform E, A & I
- Previous experience of uploading products to eBay D, I
- Previous experience of successfully working with EPOS and other stock management software. D, I & A
- Keen interest in online retail E, A & I
- Experience of working in a retail or commercial environment. D & A
- Previous experience of successfully working with EPOS and other stock management software. D & A

**Qualifications**
- Educated to at least A Level standard or equivalent E & A
- Qualification in related fields (for example business, fashion, IT, retail) D, A & I

**Knowledge & Skills**

- Strong understanding of eBay E, A, I & T
- Strong IT and analytical skills and the ability to make sense of analytical data E, A & I
- Excellent planning skills and ability to organise tasks E, A & I
- Excellent communication skills E,A,I & T
- Basic photography skills E,A, & I
- Detailed understanding of different marketplaces such as ebay, websites and Depop. E,A, I & T
- Particular interest in a specific department of sales (fashion, books, jewellery etc) E & I
