Teaching Personnel have been requested by one of our local schools to find a keen and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor. The school is based in Exeter city central; they are looking for someone who would like to support children with their education, that holdsa valid driving licence and has access to a car. The position would be Monday - Friday, 8:30 to 3:30 and an **hourly rate of £10.77, 5 days a week.**
Be understanding and empathetic.
Have an interest in education.
Possess previous experince working with children with behavioural needs.
Remain calm in stressful situations.

The main duties of a Behaviour Mentor are:

To support students, 1:1 or in small groups, to remain focused and engaged in lessons.
Aid the class teacher with differentiation, ensuring tasks are adapted appropriately to the students needs.
Record and communicate the students’ progress with the class teacher and senior leadership team.
Work with the school support staff to ensure consistency, individualised support and create a supportive network.
