An opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Specialist to join a global retailer. This company places emphasis on people, collaboration, and innovation. This is a hybrid role with the expectations of 3 days a week in office.
**Details of the role**:
Reporting to the European Payroll Manager, you will be an integral part of the Payroll team of 3, supporting with a wide variety of payroll duties. The business is looking for someone which is proactive who alongside their business-as-usual tasks, will help drive efficiencies in the payroll department.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Ownership of French and Spanish regions
- Assisting with the payroll data across the group for 9 European regions
- Ensuring payroll checks are implemented
- Overseeing statutory payments and deductions
- Managing payroll inbox and addressing queries
- Continuously looking at ways to improve the payroll process
