Overview

The HR Centre provides effective HR, Payroll and Benefits administration for employees across the UK and Ireland. The team also supports the HR network in all Nomad Foods Group locations.

As Payroll & Benefits Lead, you will guide the Payroll Team in delivering payroll and benefits solutions for the UK & Ireland. You will work closely with the Senior HR Shared Service Manager to promote and administer the Employee benefits portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of three Payroll Administrators and a Payroll Clerk, ensuring accurate processing of various payrolls: Birds Eye Limited Monthly, Nomad Foods Europe Monthly, NF Non-Exec Directors Quarterly, Birds Eye Ireland Weekly, and Birds Eye Ireland Monthly.
  • Manage all payroll account reconciliations.
  • Perform Payroll sign off to certify employee financial data accuracy and compliance with SOX legislation.
  • Review and authorize weekly and monthly pension contributions before submission to the pension provider.
  • Collaborate with external Tax Advisors to ensure expat PAYE is managed correctly.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in all aspects of payroll.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
  • Work with Group Reward to manage annual UK & Ireland insured benefit renewals for Group Life, Income Protection, and Medical schemes supported by appointed brokers.
  • Manage Employee Salary Sacrifice and Voluntary Benefit schemes.
  • Own the UK & Ireland Benefits program, promoting benefits through effective communication to maximize employee participation.
  • Oversee the administration of Car Fleet Management, working with external providers in conjunction with the UK and Ireland Company Car Policy.
  • Manage the Annual P11d submission.
  • Analyze monthly payroll and benefit metrics. Identify and implement process improvements to maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Produce standard Monthly reports by prescribed deadlines.
  • Maintain ownership of guidance documents and templates in accordance with current processes.
  • Coach and develop the Payroll Team.
  • Ensure performance aligns with Payroll SLAs.
  • Be responsible for managing internal and external payroll SOX audits.
