Sadlergates Catering is a well-established catering company, proudly serving the East Midlands and Sheffield since 2012. We specialise in providing exceptional culinary experiences for weddings, corporate events, and private functions. Our menu highlights include BBQs, hog roasts, and hot buffets.
As a team, we prioritise family time and believe it is crucial for our employees' well-being. We close for Christmas to ensure our staff can enjoy quality time with their loved ones.
**Job Description**:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team at Sadlergates Catering. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for them throughout their journey with us. This is a full-time position that involves interacting with customers via various communication channels.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist customers in selecting the right catering options for their events, understanding their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries, providing accurate information about our menus, pricing, and availability.
- Process catering bookings and payments efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection compliance.
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure seamless communication and coordination for upcoming events.
- Keep abreast of our catering offerings, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate and timely information to customers.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers visiting our premises.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional telephone manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and tact.
- Detail-oriented and well-organised, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours during peak seasons or special events.
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Knowledge of the catering industry or food services is advantageous but not essential.
