**Clinical Administrator Wards**

We've got a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Clinical Administrator to join our friendly Ward team at One Ashford Hospital.

Reporting to the Ward Manager / Sister, the successful Clinical Administrator will:

- provide a high standard of customer service
- liaise with patients and key stakeholders to complete booking requirements
- ensure our main reception duties and enquiries are handled professionally with a focus on delivering good customer service at all times
- provide administrative support to the inpatient team, including managing the appointment system, ensuring that patient records and all relevant documentation are processed accurately & assisting with audits

**Hours**: 34.5 hours per week over 3 days.

Typical shifts will be from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday. You will be required to work 3 x11.5 hour shifts per week; there will be a requirement to work on Saturdays from time to time.

**Clinical Administrator**

**Qualifications**
- Minimum GCSE education or equivalent

**Experience**
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Previous administration experience in a business/healthcare sector environment.
- 2 years relevant experience within an administrative or customer service role, including dealing with patients

- Demonstrable customer service skills and awareness
- Good interpersonal skills
- To be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexible attitude and approach to the role
- Sound computer skills
- Organisational skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
