**Clinical Support Administrator**
We've got a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administration Assistant to join our friendly Theatre team at One Ashford Hospital.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can utilise their existing administrative and customer service skills within our fast-paced Theatre department.
You will to be a confident multi-tasker with excellent attention to detail who works well to tight deadlines.
The successful Clinical Support Administrator will provide a high standard of administrative support to the Theatre Manager & Senior clinical team to ensure clinical governance and national standards are met.
You will support the clinical team and Orthopaedic Lead Practitioner:
- By ensuring requested loan kit for orthopaedic surgery is ordered and processed in a timely fashion, raising purchase orders as required
- Supporting the Orthopaedic Lead with data collection and input into the national registries i.e. NJR, Breast registry
- Clinical audits and ability to cover for theatre administrator in fielding calls and supporting the booking meeting each morning
- Ideally you will have excellent organisational skills
- Experience in managing own workload and meeting deadlines, working in a fast paced and challenging environment
- Have good communication skills with confidence and ability to liaise with multi-disciplinary teams
**Shifts**: You will work 22.5 hours per week over 3 shifts which will include Monday and Friday plus one other day to be agreed.
**Clinical Support Administrator**
**Qualifications**
- GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent qualification
**Experience**
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Previous administration experience in a business/healthcare sector environment.
- 2 years relevant experience within an administrative or customer service role, including dealing with patients
**Skills**
- Enthusiastic, passionate, and a good team player with a collaborative approach to achieving goals
- Proven experience using Microsoft packages and databases
- Impeccable telephone manner
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
- Relevant experience within an administrative/customer service role
- Good keyboard/input speed
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- Attention to detail
**Desirables**
- Experience in a hospital / healthcare environment.
