Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Office Administrative Co-ordinator to join our team.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will have a good understanding of Cerner and other NHS software, and will be able to use initiative and judgement in dealing properly with day-to-day issues and queries.

Key responsibilities:

  • To provide administrative support to Consultants and their Medical team, including managing clinic schedules, coordinating appointments, and preparing correspondence.
  • To manage the workload of clinical office administrators and clinical office assistants, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • To act as an essential point of contact for patients, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • To work closely with the Patient Pathway Team to ensure that patient pathways are managed smoothly and efficiently.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, using systems such as Cerner to track patient progress and outcomes.
