The Wokingham Community Older Adults Mental Health Teamis looking for an enthusiastic, friendly professional and highly motivatedAdministrator / Medical Secretaryto join our friendly and innovativeteam.

Your base would be Wokingham Community Hospital where we have access tofree parking facilities, staff room and afriendly and welcoming team. This role is primarily office based, however there is opportunities for hybrid working in line with service needs.

The post holder will be required to work autonomously as well as part of the wider admin team. You will be providing support to the team including, organising clinics and home visits, entering and updating information on the patient information database as well as a range of shared administrative tasks including supporting the service to run smoothly and being the front door to our patients and carers. There is an expectation that you would you be able to provide secretarial support and associated administrative tasks to the consultant psychiatrists during periods of sickness / annual leave / and to meet service needs.

You will need to have a flexible and proactive approach to office duties to ensure a smooth delivery of service to our patient group, carers and your colleagues. You will have excellent communication skills, and work to ensure effective processes and procedures are maintained across the service.

Experience of working with older people with a mental illness is desirable.

Normal working core hours across Monday to Friday are 9-5

This post is 37.5 hours a week
