**Job description**:
**Job Purpose**

Management and delivery of the DBS system operations and test functions for Oracle E Business Suite Contracting Purchasing and Finance (CP&F) and Ancillary systems.

Accountable to the DBS Finance and Commercial Service Owner for:

- The resolution of incidents in line with Service Level Agreement time frames.
- The provision of Service Requests to time, cost and quality
- Meeting System Performance Key Performance Indicators and Performance Indicators.
- The test and assurance of all system changes, in line with the agreed Programme.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the delivery of Oracle eBusiness Suite CP&F and Ancillary System Service Requests.
- Develop and maintain processes to ensure robust incident management is in place.
- Lead in Operations & Test Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships in Finance and Commercial Functional Lead areas, with TLB Focal Points and suppliers involved in the delivery of our services.
- Monitor System Performance and formally report on a monthly basis.
- Coach and mentor direct reports, monitor performance levels and ensure these are aligned to MoD and DBS standards.
- Attend all required governance boards.
- Drive forward innovation and performance improvements in order to inform measurable performance metrics

**Person specification**:
**Essential**
- Strong oral and written communication and workshop facilitation skills.
- Proven leadership and managerial skills.

**To have or be willing to obtain**:

- ITIL Foundation
- MOD Financial Skills Certificate

**Desirable**
- At least 3 years’ experience in IT services
- Excellent knowledge of Financial and Commercial Processes
