Our client is a is an independent, not-for-profit company set up to represent the needs of local businesses based in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon who are passionate about improving the area for all. They believe in delivering for the community as a whole and are looking for like-minded individuals to join their team as a **Senior Ambassador.**

**Duties (include but are not limited to)**
- Provide a positive, welcoming, presentable, and visible presence in the BID area improving the visitor experience and visibility of the BID in the eyes of the Levy Payer
- Manage daily team visits to BID Businesses, reinforcing the strong relationship between the Street Ambassador programme and Levy Payers:

- Distribute BID information and marketing materials to BID Levy Payers
- Feedback business concerns and priorities to the Company
- Provide a high-quality public and visitor support service
- Record all queries and outcomes accurately using mobile devices and computers
- Record photographic evidence to highlight the work of the Ambassador team
- Manage performance, development, and welfare of the Street and Maintenance Ambassadors and manage the Volunteer Ambassador programme
- Act as the face of the BID to member businesses
- Conduct and manage daily security and safety patrols
- Organise radio training and security support
- Liaise with police, CCTV, WRCI and Bardwatch
- Engage with Town Centre businesses to collect data on crime trends within the BID Area and enter onto BID Base and DISC apps
- Support Town Centre businesses to report crime/incidents through the appropriate channel and identify ways of making this more efficient
- Liaise with relevant Local Authorities, their agents and partner organisations to share and resolve concerns and issues raised by BID members
- Support the rollout of any BID crime reduction projects
- Work as part of the Stratford Upon Avon BID team to deliver its aims of providing a safe, clean, appealing, and accessible town within the BID Area
- Encourage businesses to take part in Town Centre events
- Have an excellent understanding of Stratford Upon Avon BID activities, operations, events, and attractions
- Ensure tasks comply with Health & Safety, law and public safety and understand Health & Safety at work policies and procedures.
- Oversee and manage the Buskers Code and work with partners to ensure it is fit for purpose.
- Represent the BID in local activities such as Clean Up days, In Bloom activities, Keep Britain Tidy Campaigns
- Deputise for the BID Manager as required

**Person Specification**
- Experience of providing face-to-face customer service and a commitment to delivering a consistently high standard of service to build positive relationships with BID businesses
- Experience of dealing with potentially unpredictable situations using a variety of conflict resolution techniques
- Excellent communication skills to deal with enquiries and complaints
- A can-do attitude, enthusiastic, keen, and quick to learn with an attention to detail
- Common-sense approach
- Good at building positive working relationships
- Well organised, punctual, and reliable
- Ability to work alone and as a team
- Able to work mainly outside in all weather conditions
- Well-presented
- Good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relations and customer service skills

- Experience of managing a security team (desirable)
