We are expanding our medical education team. An exciting opportunity to work as an Administrative Officer - Higher Education in the private sector.

Advanced Medical Simulation Online together with its subsidiaries Medical and Educational Academy and AMSO Healthcare are independent providers of postgraduate medical education and healthcare, offering institutions and their health care professionals the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge, which ultimately will help staff and individuals further their careers. We also undertake Reasearch and Development in novel immersive VR technology to deliver remote coaching of healthcare-related practical skills.

**The Role/Duties**

The duties include;
**Medical Education**
- Work harmoniously with the Business Development Manager to develop policies and standard operating procedures for the Medical Educational business.
- Manage the annual academic calendar and timetable including submissions of module(s) assignments, assessments of knowledge (online) and practical assessments (on-site and overseas exam centres).
- Maintain and update course modules on the Medical and Educational Academy learning management system “WeLearn” portal.
- Ensure a smooth admission of students to our programmes.
- Liaise with students on progress, course-related enquiries and complaints from enrolment to examination and graduation.
- Liaise with and support faculty in providing “student and academic support” services, on site and remotely.
- Monitor the quality standards and students’ feedback of the programmes.
- Contribute to marketing and sales activities of relevant staff to increase student course intake.
- Diary management of the education business.
- Maintain high levels of quality assurance, including course evaluation and course approval procedures.
- Contribute to the development, educational standards and delivery of future courses.

**Healthcare - Oak Tree Clinic**
- You might be required on occasions to answer clients’ calls and welcome visitors and patients to the clinic.

- Ability to cope with a heavy workload and frequent interruptions.
- Ability to deal positively with change.
- Self-disciplined.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Evidence of ability to explore students’ needs and adapt the service accordingly to ensure delivery of a quality service.
- Experience of working in the NHS or in a healthcare related education environment
- Data analysis skills

**Desirable criteria**
- Proven experience in use of social media across all platforms - Facebook, Twitter, Linked etc. would be advantageous.
- Previous knowledge or experience in managing WordPress website.

**Education**:

- Degree or an equivalent qualification or equivalent work related experience.

**Appointment is conditional on**:

- Satisfactory references.
- DBS check.
- Successful completion of 6 months’ probation.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
