We are a small family-owned fishing tackle importer, manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer based in the centre of Looe; Cornwall.

This is a permanent, year-round position that can offer a great deal of flexibility in working hours, location and even free/reserved parking in the town centre.

Working as part of a team, you will be based in our office in Looe town centre. You will be our main point of contact for all our website enquiries, as well as telephone and assist with social media queries so a customer-focused mindset is a must

Typical enquiries will include sales, accounts administration, stock management and general customer enquiries. You’ll also be responsible for the post, both in and out of the business, including trips to the local post office.

You will co-ordinate most of the day-to-day business activities. A good part of the role will be supporting with our accounts and payroll, so experience of both sales and purchase ledger and bank reconciliation is ideal, and if you have experience of using Xero accounts then that’s a bonus As an absolute minimum, you must have demonstrable experience of working in a role requiring your attention to detail.

Sales are primarily taken from our website and so you need to be comfortable using computers. We also have accounts on Ebay and Amazon (and no doubt others will be added in time), so you’ll be managing these supplier accounts on these platforms.

You’ll have responsibility for ensuring that each sale is managed effectively and dispatched to the customer in a timely way - keeping the customer at the centre of all that you do.

We may be small, but we’re mighty Our customers are from all over the world and so if you have experience of import/exports and using couriers then that would be advantageous - but again, we can train you on what to do here, so be prepared to take notes and learn

Because of all of this, its essential that you are able to work on your own initiative and comfortable using computers, in particular Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word). You’ll need great written and verbal communication skills, articulate and diligent in your approach to work, as well as being really organised

We think this is a good description of the role, but as the Office and Accounts Administrator, there will no doubt be other duties reasonably considered as part of this role.

- Our office is based in Looe, and you’ll have FREE & Reserved onsite parking if you need it.
- You’ll be office based, but we’re pretty flexible on work location and hours providing the core business hours and tasks are covered. Happy to discuss this at interview.

- Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum pro rata (based on 35 hours per week, and dependant on experience)
