**Are you passionate about supporting young people in an inclusive way and looking for a new challenge?**

Chalk are recruiting for this SEND Learning Specialist role to start asap - the post is Mon - Fri, 8.30-3.30pm on a temp-perm basis.

This role will involve supporting pupils who display challenging behaviours/ASD, on a 1:1basis/small groups or whole class. Experience and understanding of a range of SEND is helpful and knowledge of skills such as de-esculation beneficial.

This role will suit a positive mentor who is resilient and flexible. The school provides excellent facilities and services. You will work closely with the class teacher assisting with lessons and activities while providing a happy and safe learning environment for the pupils

**To be considered for this Behaviour Mentor role you will need**:

- Experience supporting young people with SEMH/Challenging behaviour
- Ideal would be De-escalation / positive handling training
- A positive attitude and flexible approach

**Additional requirements**:

- References confirming suitability for role
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
