Youth Mentor
Blinded Faith offer mentoring sessions to children and young people in an aim to provide them with a positive role model who can guide them with practical life skills through our ‘Show, Tell, Watch and Grow’ model. It is our aim to build confidence and empower the young people we work with through positive interactions, therapeutic conversations and encouraging fun. Mentoring we offer is tailored to individual interests and needs. We offer many organised cultural and educational enrichment activities.
We at Blinded Faith have the saying there is "NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND."
This means that whoever the child is or whatever CRISIS, we have an open heart, mind and door.
Our aim is to walk with the young person from in the middle of their CRISIS to a place where they feel safe and secure.
Through the support we give our young people they will learn that they have purpose and value.
They will start to believe that they are and can be a valuable member of society, who's voice can be heard and is worth listening to. The aim is for the encouragement of self-belief to create a new truth for them as we teach them that success comes with structure and a nurturing environment which helps unhealthy behaviours begin to subside.
We are a new business that has grown from 2 to 26+ staff in 7 months and growing. This is down to our flexible, effective and love focused way of supporting, encouraging and challenging the children and young people that we work with. It is in our companies DNA to go over and beyond what is expected to provide practical and emotional support to every child/ young person we encounter.
We have currently successfully supported four local authorities with the services we provide and aim to continue to achieve positive outcomes for the children and young people who need that extra support and a safe home environment.
