We have approximately 140 employees and employ a wide variety of different roles including Salaried GP’s, Pharmacists, Paramedics, Physiotherapists, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Pharmacy Technicians, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Phlebotomists, Patient Advisors, Administrators and many more
**Role Responsibilities**:
The following are the core responsibilities of the Clinical Rota Coordinator. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:
- Clinical Appointment Ledger overview ensuring appointments utilised sufficiently
- Involvement with clinical rotas and organising room allocations (while taking into account Annual Leave, Sickness, Training Dates, meetings and appraisals)
- Responsible for monitoring the absence line and arranging cover where appropriate
- Assist with basic IT support
- Input data into the patients’ healthcare records as necessary
- Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks and queries as requested
- Submitting and approving Annual Leave requests as per the practice policy
- Attend weekly meetings with our GP lead to prepare and organise for future rotas, annual leave, study leave and any other requests.
- Process and submit overtime for the clinical team
- Management and organisation of Digital Locums/Locums when required
- Scheduling monthly reviews and appraisals for the clinicians with the GP lead
- Arranging monthly educational meetings, including completing and circulating meeting agenda and invites
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
- Experience of administration.
- Experience of working in a busy, fast paced environment.
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise task effectively.
- Professionalism and discretion when dealing with sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm in difficult situations.
- High level of computer literacy.
- A professional telephone manner.
- A flexible pro-active approach to work.
