We are looking for a senior manager to lead and manage the Registration Service. You will be responsible for the delivery of statutory and non-statutory registration services and leading a team to deliver professional services to ensure that births, still births, marriages, civil partnerships, and deaths are registered and compliant with legal processes and within the KPIs as set by the General Register Office (GRO).

**Role Responsibilities**:

- To lead on all Registration matters as the Superintendent Registrar for Hammersmith and Fulham Council by contributing to the strategic development and management of the Registration Service and to ensure all statutory duties, including submission of reports, returns and plans to the GRO by prescribed deadlines, are performed in accordance with relevant legislation; regulations and instructions issued by the Registrar General.
- To lead and manage staff to ensure the delivery of high quality, cost-effective, customer focused services which meet the Council’s statutory responsibilities.
- To manage and monitor the Registration Service budget, including effective and efficient use of resources and income generation in accordance with financial regulations.
- To project manage key pieces of service improvement work, including identifying new income streams, marketing and promotion, new governance, and additional services.
