- Bell Cornwall Recruitment are looking for an experienced Trust Officer to join a leading Church organisation, providing Property and Legal Support for the West Midlands. _
- The role is varied and exciting, with no two days the same and plenty of opportunities to further develop knowledge and understanding within the sector. _
**Key duties and responsibilities**:
- Working with Solicitors on Sharing Agreements, Charity Law and general legal matters and property transactions as needed such as, Declaration of Trust and Land Registration
- Acting as Secretary to the Trust Board, coordinating the Trustees Report, preparing the Trust Board agenda, taking minutes and contributing to the follow-up (including correspondence)
- Alerting local churches and others to changes in relevant legislation, advising/assisting as necessary and be available for consultation and advice as/when needed on legal & property matters
**The ideal Trust Officer would**:
- Have the relevant professional qualification or experience in Law, ideally within Property and Charity
- Be familiar with the operations of the Church up to General Assembly level and able to represent at this level
- Have discretion and integrity especially concerning confidentiality
- Be self motivated and able to work both as a member of a team and alone, and to deadlines
- Be happy to go into the office 4 days per week
