Report effectively to Assistant service manager and Divisional management team.

Communicate divisional information to the management team which may be sensitive or complex, such as non-compliance with mandatory information required by the division.

Process and document leave for the Head & Neck CBU and communicate this to the relevant individuals / teams in a timely and professional manner.

Process and document expenses claims for the Head & Neck CBU in a timely and professional manner.

Co-ordinate inductions for the Head & Neck CBU, including agency and trainees. Ensuring meetings arranged, IT access set up.

Maintain records of training (TMS) and appraisals for the Head & Neck CBU, and report back on completion as required.

Set up and maintain divisional databases and spreadsheets as appropriate.

The service is seeking a Band 3 Rota Co-ordinator and Administrator to support the Team. Co-ordinating the rota in line with agreed work patterns and guidance from the Lead Rota Coordinator, CSM & ACSM, and providing full administrative support to the clinical business unit. This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a small team, in a fast paced environment, where no two days are the same.

Excellent communication skills, high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, good organisation skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are very important for this role.

We operate from three main hospitals-Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.

FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services.

WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.

All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay
