About The Role
**_PHS Direct - Birch Coppice _**
**_Are you interested in a new and exciting career as New Business Development Consultant?_**:
- The purpose of this role is to deliver growth in new business from competitive customers in the Hygiene sector. You will be using the targeted customer and marketing information, delivering against a set of agreed objectives in line with the Hygiene SalesStrategy_
**_Your key responsibilities will be:_**:
- _Calling prospect customers to win new business using targeted customer data and supported by targeted marketing campaigns. _
- _Develop and close sales deals over the telephone. _
- _Work with your Team Leader to develop a strategic plan to win new business in your region from targeted competitors and customers. _
- _You will accurately forecast and deliver against revenue targets. _
- _You will focus on effectiveness, efficiency, and the quality of sales activities not just the quantity. _
- _Pass prospects and leads to the relevant Field Sales Consultant. _
- _Use the CRM system to effectively record, manage and develop opportunities._
- _Always look to improve on the sales process. _
- _Focus on the root cause of problems and help identify ways to resolve._
- _Champion the sales strategy ensuring the customer is at the heart of our process. _
- _Help to promote a culture of excellence in respect of customer service, quality, and improvement._
- _Use targeted marketing campaigns to unlock the growth potential in the market._

- _Excellent communication _
- _Able to instantly build a good rapport with customers over the telephone._
- _Able to spot opportunities and capitalise on them. _
- _Demonstrable understanding of sales methodologies._
- _Demonstrable experience in delivering against new business growth targets. _
- _Proven track record in a hunter tele-sales role ideally in the industry. _
- _Have high energy and pace. _
- _Thrive in a demanding sales environment. _
- _Be resilient in and tenacious in their approach to winning new business. _
- _Has high professional and personal standards. _
- _Someone who can challenge respectfully, constructively and respectfully. _
- _Have knowledge of using Microsoft packages - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint._
**_In return for your commitment and expertise, you will get:_**:
- _A basic salary of £23,478.00 OTE £36,000.00_
- _A full-time permanent position of 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday. No evenings or weekend working. _
