The Business Support Administrator role is part of a small administration team, which is led by the Corporate Governance Manager and includes the Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive. The role works very closely with colleagues in the Digital and Business Support Group, in particular with the Business Support Officer.

**Information about the Role**

As the Business Support Administrator you will work with a broad range of colleagues supporting SHR’s business needs across the organisation. This will involve adhoc tasks and project work as well as cyclical activities. It will provide an opportunity to get involved in a wide range of administration. While you will regularly be expected to work independently you will be joining a small supportive team and work across the organisation.

**This role is a part-time position, consisting of 22 hours per week however there is flexabilty so please contact the Hiring Manager with any queries around flexible working.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with SHR’s Business intelligence Team to provide them with administration support, including providing secretariat support to our three Business Intelligence governance forums, which will involve arranging meetings, recording minutes and maintaining action logs.
- Work to support the Business Manager and her team, supporting their work around SHR’s current and future office, working and business continuity arrangements, workforce planning and development needs, and cyber security.
- Act as one of SHR’s Information Management Support Officers (IMSO) and support SHR’s records management arrangements when the primary IMSO is not available (training will be provided).
- Support SHR’s broader business activities as required - such as specific regulatory projects that may need administration support and other adhoc tasks as required. This may be around ongoing cyclical work or on a project/responsive basis such as the forthcoming review of SHR’s Regulatory Framework.
- Provide support to the Director and Assistant Directors of Regulation and their teams, including helping to organise meetings, communicate with landlords and other ad hoc tasks.
- Work closely with the Chief Executive’s PA to support the general administration needs of the business, including handling first point of contact queries to our mail and phone lines. Provide absence/leave cover for the Chief Executive’s PA.
- Assist with financial administration including raising Purchase Orders and processing invoices and be one of the Electronic Purchasing Card Holder (EPC) holder for SHR (training will be provided).
- Work with the Corporate Governance Manager and Chief Executive’s PA to support SHR’s Board members and corporate governance business needs.
- Support the Communications Team to keep content on our staff intranet accurate and up-to-date (training to be provided).

1. Excellent communications skills and confidence in dealing with others including colleagues, senior staff and stakeholders.

3. Excellent administration skills, with experience of working on your own initiative and prioritising to meet business needs.

4. Confident user of Microsoft packages and keen to further develop IT skills.
