**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Job Title: NEST Project Administrator Fixed Term contract until April 2025

**Location**:New Heights Warren Farm Community Project Kingstanding, Birmingham.

Grade: £12.00 PH - TERM TIME ONLY Hours: 18 hours per week Monday - Thursday

(39 weeks per year + 5.8 weeks holiday allowance

**Responsible to**:NEST Service Manager

Accountable to: New Heights Warren Farm Community Project Trustee Board

The NEST Project is part of New Height’s portfolio of projects, aimed at tackling local deprivation and encourage positive lifestyle changes. The NEST project provides domestic abuse counselling and welfare support to enable our community to flourish.

**Job Purpose**:
To provide administration support to the NEST project. This includes administration support to counsellors, project support workers and volunteers.

**Key responsibilities**:
1. General office management and support (including filing, photocopying, diary management, minuet taking etc)

3. Meet and greet service users, visitors and volunteers

4. Data input and recording

5. Screening calls and handling sensitive information

6. Gathering, recording and collation of statistical information and user feedback

7. To support with the design and production of service literature

8. Managing and updating paper and electronic filing and recording systems

9. To work as part of a team (including providing support and direction to volunteers and students)

10. Petty cash handling and purchase ordering

11. Participation in the planning and delivery of service events such as workshops and partner training

12. Representing the NEST service at partner agency events and meetings

13. Attend monthly supervision and team meetings

14. To implement New Heights Policies and Procedures at all times

15. To carry out any other reasonable tasks commensurate with the role

16. To be available to occasionally attend weekend and evening events (advance notice will be given)

Experience of carrying out a wide range of administrative duties, including user data collation and recording

Experience of dealing positively and professionally with clients and visitors, including the handling of sensitive and confidential information

Experience of using I.T packages (including I.T design packages)

Good working knowledge of I.T packages (i.e. Microsoft word)
