Great Yarmouth, United Kingdom Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Are you an administrator looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Do you have excellent communications skills and a keen eye for detail? Can you effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities?

The Great Yarmouth Parental Mental Health Services are looking to recruit a conscientious, calm and confident individual to become part of their team.

The service has been developed to support children and families who have an allocated Family Practitioner or Family Assessment and Safeguarding Team Social Worker. The service is designed to work with families who need specialist or intensive intervention and support to prevent them from escalating from Family Support to Child Protection or becoming Looked After, and to help children return to their family networks where it is safe to do so.

You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills at the same time as showcasing your knowledge of IT systems. You will be able to evidence a flexible response to service needs and the ability to think creatively. Experience of working to deadlines, on your own initiative and maintaining confidentiality are also essential.

**Duties include (but are not limited to)**:
Supporting Clinicians to maintain electronic patient records.

Booking appointments

Typing of letters

Maintaining and monitoring waiting lists

Diary management

General admin support to wider clinical team

Liaising with other teams

Supporting phones

Undertake other appropriate duties, as directed, being adaptable and flexible to service needs and changes across the locality.

Previous administration experience is essential. Full training will be given.

Here at NSFT we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, talented, friendly and supportive team who like nothing better than sharing experiences and learning from each other. In addition to ongoing training and development opportunities, we are committed to providing an environment in which you can thrive.

Why work for us? We have challenges as a Trust, but we have ambitious aspirations, are pushing ahead with exciting transformation work and we need dedicated individuals to support us on our journey. We have strong, established nursing networks coupled with an exceptional leadership team who will ensure you are truly cared for and cared about.

Why Norfolk and Suffolk? The people here are warm and welcoming, you’ll never be far from the beautiful coastline or Broads National Park. We’re an hour and a half away from London and have an international airport in Norwich too. Our villages, towns and cities are packed full of history, independent cafes, shops and theatres. We have excellent shopping, eating out, top ranking schooling and affordable house prices too.

Please see attached job description and person specification for more information on the duties of the role.
