We are looking for an Assessor/Trainer in Carpentry to join our busy Construction and Motor Vehicle Work Based Learning department.

**About the role**

**Assessment**: Conduct assessments of learners' competency levels in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

**Training Delivery**: Deliver engaging and informative training sessions, workshops, and practical demonstrations to learners.

**Curriculum Development**: Collaborate with curriculum development teams to update and develop training materials and resources.

**Individualised Support**: Provide individualised support and guidance to learners to help them achieve their learning goals.

**Progress Monitoring**: Monitor and track learner progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

**Quality Assurance**: Ensure that training programs meet quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements.

**Continued Learning**: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements to enhance training programs.

**Qualifications and Skills Required**:

- Level 3 relevant vocational qualification and relevant vocational CPD.
- Level 3 TAQA or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Qualifications (or equivalent, A1, etc).
- Proven experience in the relevant industry or field.
- Previous experience in vocational education and training, particularly in assessing and/or delivering training programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
