Cambridge-based Ofsted-rated 'GOOD' college seeks a skilled Electrical Trainer and Assessor to join its Construction team. This exciting opportunity involves working with apprentices to develop their knowledge, skills, and behaviours throughout their programmes.
You will collaborate with the teaching delivery team to track individual apprentice progress and provide feedback to employers during regular review meetings. Setting and monitoring individual targets, offering developmental support, and ensuring successful programme completion are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of learners, providing high-quality training, coaching, mentoring, and assessment.
- Communicate effectively with employers and learners, fostering positive relationships to support training and development.
- Plan and deliver training sessions, conduct assessments, and record learner progress.
- Maintain health and safety standards, prepare for End Point Assessment, and perform administrative duties.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 3 qualification in Building Services/Heating and Ventilation.
- Relevant industry experience and assessing/IQA qualifications.
- Strong planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in training, coaching, or assessing within education or industry settings.
Package and Remuneration:
