About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assessor/Trainer - Electrical Installations to join the esteemed Construction team at an Ofsted-rated 'GOOD' college.

This is a full-time role with a competitive salary range of £45,000-£55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and location.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building services, heating, and ventilation disciplines, with relevant qualifications and experience.

Duties will include coordinating apprentice progress, setting targets, and providing developmental support to ensure successful completion of electrical installations training programs.

Responsibilities also include monitoring individual apprentice progress, providing feedback to employers, and mentoring for End Point Assessment.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Level 3 qualification in Building Services/Heating and Ventilation.
  • Relevant industry experience, including assessing and IQA qualifications.
  • Previous experience in training, coaching, mentoring, or assessing in an educational or industry setting.
  • Excellent planning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in various IT systems.
  • Flexible and possessing a valid driving license.
