Office Coordinator

We are looking for an Office coordinator to help organise and coordinate administration duties, office procedures and functions. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, coordination, communication and safety.
This is a part time role (22.5 hours per week - negotiable) based in our Southampton office, flexible working hours are available. Due to the nature of the role, regular in-office working is required but some home working will be possible.
**Responsibilities**
- Keeping office safe, clean and organised
- Stocking office supplies
- Managing H&S risk assessments, procedures and policies together with regular reviews
- First aid oversight and qualification (first aid training to be provided)
- Arranging meetings/appointments/presentations and more
- Organising office operations and procedures
- Providing support to visitors, clients and the team
- Assisting in onboarding new hires
- Addressing employee queries regarding office management (e.g. stationery, hardware and travel arrangements)
- Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences
- Liaising with IT support
- Assisting the MD and Project Managers with day to day tasks
**Requirements and skills**
- Experience as an office coordinator, manager or similar role
- Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
