On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:

- Being the first point of contact for all HR-related queries, responding to basic employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee information in HR databases and other systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assisting and coordinating the recruitment process, drafting adverts, liaising with recruitment agencies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and issuing relevant correspondence.
- Coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including offer letters, contracts of employment, and updating employee records.
- Assisting in administering the company pension scheme and benefits package.
- Contributing to and supporting the development of HR projects and initiatives, such as policy development, employee engagement programs, and performance management processes.
- Maintaining knowledge of current HR trends, best practices, and employment laws to ensure compliance and suggest process improvements.

**The Person**:

- Recent experience of working in an HR administrative environment and will ideally hold a CIPD Qualification in HR or equivalent.
- Previous experience of working within an SME/service environment would be advantageous.
- A good understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels, acting with tact and diplomacy at all times.
- Solid numeracy skills with the ability to understand and carry out basic numerical calculations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Self-motivation with a commitment to personal development.
- A flexible approach and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
