The Oliver McGowan Training Coordinator role is an opportunity for someone with exceptional administration skills, strong organisation abilities, and experience of working with or supporting autistic people and/or individuals with learning disabilities.
**Salary and hours of work**
Working from our head office in Bromborough, Wirral, this position is permanent and based on full-time hours (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday - however, flexibility will be required, which may involve working ad-hoc weekends if the need arises. The hours worked will always be within the normal contracted hours.

**About the role**
This position is integral in overseeing the roll out of the delivery model both to our workforce and external partner agencies. The role will include the postholder creatively seeking solutions to enable a slick booking and compliance capture process, that will be compatible with internal and external processes.
The successful applicant will also work with our Experts By Experience, supporting them to deliver the training programme to a wide audience, and ensuring they are placed at the heart of this project.
The postholder will work with the Learning Culture Team who will be responsible for delivering this programme, alongside the Training Support Manager, Practice Trainers, the Experts, and the Head of Learning Culture. They will also be responsible for the coordination of training teams and supporting them to deliver sessions to health and social care staff.
**Main duties will include**:
- Supporting the experts to deliver training sessions to staff.
- Undertaking Oliver McGowan tier 1 and 2 training.
- Assisting with the completion of paperwork and attending sessions to act as a companion / support person for our Experts.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal/external partners and be the Oliver McGowan specialist to respond to/manage queries.
- Coordinate the training dates, both internal and external, allocating facilitators and Experts to deliver sessions.
- Coordinating the Experts, keeping them informed of the progress of the project and facilitating their attendance to sessions.
- Overseeing the Oliver McGowan eLearning compliance for internal staff and Experts.
- Issuing the Oliver McGowan certificates to health and social care staff and the Experts.
- Booking of venues (when required) and setting up Tier 1 Webinars.
- Submit progress reports to the Head of Learning Culture and the Training Support Manager.
- Support the Training Support Manager to provide administration assistance to all other training models.
- Report/record feedback sheets from delegates and track attendance record sheets.
- Ensure that payments for the Experts are processed.
- Work with the Staffing Team to ensure that the Oliver McGowan Expert bank pool is developed and monitored.
- Set up and arrange monthly Oliver McGowan forums with the experts and key stakeholders.
- Promoting the commercial training via marketing channels.
- Providing additional support to the training team, as and when required by the Training Support Manager and Head of Learning Culture.
