**Position**: Facilities Coordinator

**Location**: Oxford

**Salary**: £30,000 - £32,000

**Type**: Permanent

**Hours**:Flexibility around core hours

Do you have practical experience in renovation and maintenance projects?

Have you got technical knowledge of building services and utilities?

We have a great new opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator to join the team. You will be responsible for overseeing hard and soft services for each building, including service contracts, and addressing general maintenance and improvements.

Please note that you must be willing to be on call for any building emergencies. You will also be able to work hybrid in line with the needs on the role. Willingness to travel to different locations across Oxfordshire is required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring maintenance requests and small jobs list are addressed in a proactive and timely manner.
- Hiring and managing contractors such as gardeners, cleaners etc
- Organise access to buildings including issuing keys and recording key holders.
- Support occupiers to maintain outdoor spaces/gardens.
- Implementing preventative maintenance schedules and ensuring regular testing such as emergency system checks, PA testing, Fire checks etc.
- Implementing Health & Safety/fire control policies and procedures along with inductions for residents or new staff.
- Ensure that supplies are ordered and stocked.
- Setting up and managing waste and recycling services.
- Managing maintenance and refurbishment budgets and working with the finance assistant to keep records.
- Collaborating with fellow Facilities Coordinator to use common systems and documents in a comprehensive and clear way.
- Ensure regular fire alarm testing, drills are carried out and take regular utility meter readings.

**Requirements**:

- Facilities / maintenance experience and budget monitoring
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, fire control and other relevant protocols related to building management
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience of using Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft word
