**Sales Support Administrator**
VIS Systems are the UK’s leading site monitoring company, specialising in a range of integrated imaging technologies. As a Sales Support Administrator, you would be working from our offices in Bury, liaising with new or existing customers in connection with services they have or intend to procure, and you will have the opportunity to upsell further services.
As a key part of the sales team, you will play a crucial role in our growth strategy and contributing significantly to our ongoing success in the UK market. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a substantial impact by providing essential support in managing existing sales accounts and ensuring the efficient execution of sales operations.
We have an office team who work closely together, covering each other’s roles during periods of annual leave. Your role will involve following up on sales leads passed to you by the company Director or General Manager, maintain a record of progress through our CRM system or seeking out new opportunities through an industry recognised lead generating platform.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Serve as the backbone of support for the sales team, handling administrative tasks and facilitating smooth operations.
- Assist in managing communication with clients and internal teams, ensuring the timely and accurate flow of information.
- Coordinate and track sales activities, helping to meet deadlines and manage schedules effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales agreements, contracts and new account set ups.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare compelling presentations, proposals and accurate statistics.
- Provide vital assistance in processing sales orders, monitoring their progress, and resolving any issues that may arise.
**To Succeed in this Role**:
- You’ll have a heavy workload, so whilst you will need to work fast to meet deadlines, you will also need to ensure work is completed to a high level of accuracy. Essentially, you’ll work quickly and have a sharp eye for the little details
- As you’ll be the internal contact for a lot of our key sales accounts, you’ll be a clear and confident communicator with a strong commitment to delivering on promises.
- You’ll have tight deadlines to meet every day, so being able to manage your own time effectively and prioritise tasks is key.
- You’ll be commercially aware, that means having the ability to think on your feet and deliver a profitable proposal to a customer that meets internal guidelines.
**How you’ll demonstrate it**
- You’ll have a proven track record of commercial success. This could be in a sales support, B2B customer service support function (or similar) or even another role or experience that shows this.
- Ideally, you’ll have experience supporting Sales teams. You’ll be supporting some of our largest customers, so you’ll need to be confident and have a good level of understanding of their requirements.
