Reed In Colchester are delighted to be supporting our client looking to expand their growing and passionate team by appointing a HR Administrator on a 6 Month, full time, Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of Permanent job thereafter.

Reporting into the Human Resources Lead, you will provide efficient HR administrative support for the company and support the HR team in relation to all human resource matters.

The role will be 35 hours per week and can be remote or with the option of hybrid working at the Colchester Office.

**Main duties will include;**
- Dealing with general HR enquiries from staff and contractors
- Working with the HR team to ensure that all people related processes along the employee journey from recruitment and onboarding, through performance management to leaving the company are clearly communicated to, and adhered to by staff at all levels ofthe organisation
- Maintaining the integrity of staff records within the HR database, including staff leave, sickness absence records and payroll data
- Ensuring HR files and folder structure is kept up to date and accurate at all times
- Sending out monthly HR reports to Managers generated by the Reporting Analyst
- Liaising with the HR Lead, Director of Finance and the payroll supplier regarding monthly payroll information
- Following up with line managers on employee probation periods and drafting and issuing letters
- Setting up new starters on the HR database and maintaining existing records
- Working with the HR/ Recruitment Officer to provide an effective recruitment process, including arranging interviews and maintaining the recruitment module of the HR system, ensuring data is up to date and accurate
- Assisting the HR/ Recruitment Officer with onboarding and new starter instructions
- Collating right to work checks, reference requests, and other documentation to ensure legal compliance before new joiners begin work
- Preparing the agenda, minutes and action register from the H&S committee meetings
- Supporting the HR team with HR admin and/or project work

**Skills Required**:

- Educated to a good standard with relevant qualifications (at least level 3, including English GCSE grade C/4 or above)
- At least two years’ administrative experience in a similar role
- Experience in Human Resources preferred but not essential
- Experience of inputting and accessing data
- Good working Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and other IT packages in a range of contexts and for a range of purposes
