Are you an experienced Procurement Officer who enjoys working closely with departments to ensure that procurement activities maximise value for money and performance? We have a new opportunity for a Senior Procurement Officer join a well-established, forward-thinking company based in Bangor, Gwynedd.

In the Welsh Speaking Senior Procurement Officer role, you will be:

- Providing professional procurement and contact advice, managing the procurement process for identified procurements in accordance with regulations and national guidance, securing value for money
- Assisting the Procurement Manager with the analysis of information on order to provide recommendations to staff regarding awarding tenders, contracts, etc
- Providing key support to the Procurement Manager in the effective running of the service by collecting, producing, and presenting relevant data
- The first point of contact for procurement enquiries from internal and external customers

To be considered for the Welsh Speaking Senior Procurement Officer role, you must have:

- Membership of CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply) or working towards or relevant experience of working in a similar role
- Experience of advising in relation to strategic procurement activities
- Understanding and experience in highly regulated industries
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent IT skills with experience with Microsoft packages
- Proven track history of implementing strategies and delivering results
- Able to communicate written and verbal in both Welsh and English
