Specialist Procurement Consultancy that is consistently **ranked amongst the 'UK's Leading Management Consultants'** is looking to make a brand new hire at a senior level due to a recent increase in demand for **sustainable procurement** from their clients.

Sustainability and ESG are two areas of increasing focus in the procurement world and this consultancy are looking to bolster their offerings in this space. As the Sustainability & ESG Procurement Consultant (Manager Grade) you will be working **across the consultancy's verticals** on traditional procurement consultancy work, whilst also being the **go to person for any sustainability or ESG projects** that may arise.

Typically their work is in industries where viewing operations through a sustainability lens can be greatly beneficial, with predominant focuses being across **Manufacturing, Engineering and Transport** - all areas that can be streamlined effectively with regards to sustainability and ESG procurement. This means that you will be an **integral part of the development of the business going forward** and likely will be able to **build out a vertical of your own** in the long run

**_Sustainability & ESG Procurement Consultant - Manager Grade, Required Background: -_**
- **End-to-end direct procurement** experience ideally gained within the **Manufacturing, Engineering or Transport** industries (other industrial / engineering-focused industries such as Aerospace, Defence or Automotive will also be considered)
- Evidence of managing** NEC, JCT or FIDIC contracts **(either bespoke or template)
- Experience **leading on sustainable or ESG procurement initiatives** - ideally having worked on Carbon Footprint Calculations or Electric Vehicles
- Experience in **transformation type roles** either as a management consultant or working internally on internal process improvement
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
- Strong academic record (2.1 degree or above & MCIPS) - beneficial but not essential
