- Job Description 1The Cambridgeshire Victim and Witness Hub supports victims and witnesses across Cambridgeshire and we are looking for a passionate and motivated Business Support Officer to join our team.

As a Victim and Witness Business Support Officer you will provide administration support to the department, supporting the team to deliver end to end support to victims of crime and ASB from initial report to Police or self-referral through to the conclusion of any criminal justice process and beyond.

Minimum Entry Requirements;
- At least one years proven experience in providing business support
- To have experience in the use of windows-based word processors and database software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- To have good written communication skills in order to prepare letters and memoranda
- To have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels with staff and general public, particularly victims and witnesses who may be vulnerable, demonstrating sensitivity, tact and diplomacy.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure
- To be able to organise and prioritise a personal workload and to record work accurately.
- To contribute to a wider team spirit and to help motivate others to work to a high standard
- In appropriate circumstances, make positive decisions without reference to others

The post holder will very occasionally be needed to work additional hours of an evening.

Desirable
- Familiarity with the criminal justice system
