Payroll Supervisor

A Payroll Supervisor is sought to work for a service company based in SE London with excellent transport links, Supervising one team member in the payment of 900 employees the role will report to the Finance Manager
Duties will include
- Overseeing and processing payroll changes for new starters, terminations, and pay amendments
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
- Accurately processing statutory payments, implementing code changes and attachments to earnings
- Ensuring HMRC monthly submissions are completed accurately and on time
- Administration of the company auto-enrolment pension scheme ensuring monthly contributions are uploaded to the provider
- Completing year-end procedures including P60s
- Managing the distribution of work and task allocation
- Liaison with the Auditors and management of payroll tax audits
- Preparation of monthly payroll journals
- Maintenance of payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
- Checking and submitting timesheets and supporting documentation to ensure payroll is accurate and within budget
- Escalating any concerns and queries to the management team
Pay: From £45,000.00 per year
