**Salary**:

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPERIENCE**:

- **Strategic HR Management**: Evaluate and ascertain the department's needs, developing strategic solutions to meet organisational goals.
- **Policy and Procedure Development**: Draft, implement, and revise HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current laws and support the company's mission and objectives.
- **Employee Relations**:Serve as a key point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving issues and fostering a positive work environment.
- **Performance Management**:Oversee performance evaluation processes, providing guidance on performance improvement, and facilitating feedback and discussions between staff and management.
- **Training and Development**:Work with the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QSHE) team to identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, promoting career development.
- **Compliance**:Ensure all HR activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, staying abreast of changes in employment law and promoting our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policies.
- **HR Administration**:Handle day-to-day HR tasks, including the administration of HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment and personnel files. Ensure accurate record-keeping and data protection compliance.
- **Social Value**:Lead the organisation and planning of apprenticeship and work experience opportunities in collaboration with local schools and colleges, aligning with our social value commitments. Partner with the Marketing department to represent Jointline at recruitment fairs, schools and colleges, showcasing our commitment to community engagement and talent development.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Proven experience in Human Resources, with a track record of developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Strong understanding of employment law and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
