MESM, a part of Avantor, is responsible for delivering top quality laboratory equipment hiring services to a variety of customer in the industry on a globalscale. We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to support the team with shipping and receiving equipment from our global customer sites.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate the collection of medical equipment from our customer sites
- Prepare paperwork, ensuring customs requirements are met
- Make bookings using the most cost and time effective method of transport
- Update the business system with tracking information and resolve any delays with carriers or customs, communicating with the wider business as appropriate
- Manage a variety of shipping related enquiries from customer sites
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure customer SLA’s for delivery and collection are achieved

Experience Required
- Proven experience in a customer facing role and a good level of customer service experience
- A good understanding of meeting customer SLA’s
- Experience using software such as Microsoft Excel as you will be updating our business system to track and to book shipments
- Good organisation and time keeping skills as you will be arranging the return of equipment
- Previous experience working effectively in a fast-paced customer-focused environment
