**Overview**:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Attendance Officer to join our secondary school located in Lewisham, London. As an Attendance Officer, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining excellent attendance records among our students, ensuring they have the best possible opportunities for success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and record student attendance, identifying patterns and trends to address any issues promptly.
- Implement strategies to improve attendance rates, working closely with students, parents, and staff.
- Liaise with parents and guardians regarding student absences, providing support and guidance when necessary.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and produce reports as required.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to identify and address any barriers to attendance.
