The role involves the following:

- Providing administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
- Maintaining physical and digital filing systems.
- Answering phone calls and meeting and directing visitors appropriately.
- Managing a digital calendar and logistics for room bookings.
- Inputting and updating information in databases and spreadsheets.
- Using word processing and presentation software to create and edit documents.
- Working with maintenance staff and outside suppliers to ensure office equipment is in good working order and office supplies are always on hand.
- Presenting a positive and professional image for the organization.

This role would be perfect if you are looking for a rewarding part-time administrative role to work around school hours, or simply want to reduce your hours for a work/life balance. You’d be joining of a team of people who work together to support some of the most vulnerable people in our community.

St Catherine's Church Centre is a community centre linked to St Catherine’s Church. Our activities include an adult day care service, a community café, a hot meal delivery service and an Emergency Food Store.

We’re looking for someone with experience of the above duties and:

- A professional, flexible and methodical approach to work
- A self-starter who can take the initiative responsibly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent ICT skills, with attention to accuracy and detail
- A friendly and welcoming manner
