**About us**
NST Travel Group provides a market leading domestic and international school trip booking service to Schools and Academies across the UK and Ireland.
**The Role**:
As Tour Assistant, you will support the Operations team in the successful delivery and profitable planning of all elements of the customer experience by providing exceptional, dependable, and flexible assistance.
You will assist the Tour Co-ordinators with new booking administration, supplier requests, credit control and the creation of final itineraries.
**A typical day....**
- Liaising with the Tour Co-Ordinators, Customers, and Suppliers to ensure we have all of the necessary details within the operational timeframes
- Develop and maintain basic knowledge of key visits and optional extras for each destination to add value and margin wherever possible
- Identify discrepancies on documentation between suppliers and support departments to ensure a smooth and successful delivery to our customers, by having excellent attention to detail
- Using your communication to maximise retention opportunities through excellent customer service and product delivery
- Supporting the Tour Co-Ordinators in finding solutions to manage pre travel and “on tour” disruption effectively
- Build positive working relationships with external suppliers

**You should also have the following skills/experience**
- Minimum 12 months experience in business administration or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience of meeting and exceeding targets and working to deadlines
- Passionate about delivering a professional service with the flexibility to support customer needs
- Problem solving ability and a “Can Do” attitude
- Effective time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads autonomously (multiple tasks)
- Strong influencing and team working skills
- IT Literate with knowledge and experience of using MS products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
