We are currently looking for Sales Team Leader's to join our teams

**THE ROLE**

As Sales Team Leader, you will contribute to the growth of PGL Group by leading a team of Educational Travel Advisors to achieve of NST sales and profit targets. Supporting the Tours Management team, you will create and maintain effective team performance, engagement and wellbeing. You will measure, develop and manage the sales team to achieve business targets and KPIs.

Reporting to our NST Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Measure, develop and manage the sales team to achieve annual business targets.
- Supporting the Tours Management team to create and maintain effective team performance, engagement and wellbeing.
- Enable the achievement of KPI’s (conversion, retention, tour profitability, customer satisfaction, etc) by providing regular feedback, support, learning, and growth opportunities to team members
- Create the environment for effective teamwork and communication to encourage commitment and engagement
- Provide advice and support to the team on handling queries, and overcoming customer objections
- Identify and implement specific and targeted individual / team development activities to continuously improve performance
- Provide support to other teams and departments where appropriate

**IS THIS YOU?**

To be considered for the role, the following skills and experience are essential:

- Can demonstrate a successful track record of leading/managing others in the workplace
- Has a minimum 3 years’ experience in a Sales/Customer Service background (preferably telephone based)
- Experience of building and maintaining successful teams
- Experience of influencing and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
- Problem solving ability and a “Can Do” attitude
- Ability to work under pressure with proven experience of delivering results and working to deadlines
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads
- Commercial and financial awareness
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- IT Literate with knowledge and experience of using MS products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
